Nope - SEC wants topnotch academic institutions...


they do not need more football muscle, and the real basketball prize is Kansas, which is AAU. Oklahoma is also AAU so it's really not that much of a stretch to demand AAU status.

The SEC crowed almost - maybe more - about Mizzou and A&M academics when they made that acquisition. That is why I think only Kansas and OK are on their B12 short list. They'd love to raid the ACC, but that seems unlikely. WVU? Extreme longshot imo.
