Yeah, on a personal note


my 13 yr old is a 2.65 home to first kid that is already max squatting 240 lbs. She runs track and loves the gym and we have had this discussion on a number of occasions. I have told her she needs to get faster every year, not decrease. Tough not to go overboard with a kid.
I see these girls really putting on the pounds in 8th and 9th grade. I saw several of her former team members at a high school game and could not believe the weight they have put on. My d is a slapper and if she loses speed, her game is minimized significantly.
