New Mexico might be a good candidate as well


They have maybe the biggest stadium in the MWC - about 40k, which doesn't seem like much, but consider that Oregon State's is around 45K. They are a small state (a little bigger than WV - trending upwards rather than downwards), but they have an urban setting and no other sports competing for attention. Plus, it would make a nice geographic bridge connecting the conference to Texas and Oklahoma.
