Agreed. Just an interesting coincidence regarding Metcalf. Of course, at that level, there are only a handful of guys beating one and other.

I give Robie and Whit huge props. The timing of the ISU offer to Dresser was just horrible (and IMHO the NCAA should have rules against that). But despite that terrible timing, Robie and staff (including Zadick and St. John) held the team together remarkably well through the ACC and NCAA Championships. Then Robie and Whit assembled a world class coaching staff very quickly. I haven't seen a single article or commentary about the coaching carousel that wasn't impressed with the team Tech assembled.

And not that they're my team, but ISU has one hell of a staff now too. Will be fun to watch the Iowa v. ISU dynamic over the next few years.
