I'm fine with your 16, but going to 20 dilutes the product too much.

I don't think the added four schools actually bring enough to justify adding them. We would be better off staying at 16. I do agree with your ND comment. When we were in the Big East adding ND could have saved the conference, so it was a big deal. A few years ago when people thought the ACC was at risk of being devoured by other conferences, ND could have helped solidify the conference. But now the ACC is back on solid ground, its the Big 12 that is at risk. ND would be a nice addition, but the ACC is solid without them. FSU and Clemson have made a resurgence. VT is on the way up. Louisville is bringing something in football. Miami - who knows. Point is, the ACC doesn't need ND to come in and save the day. We get some nice games and corresponding money from ND as part of our deal. VT actually gets to play ND more often than if they were in the Atlantic division of the ACC. This is not the kind of deal the Big East had with ND; this deal actually benefits the ACC and the individual schools in the conference - all of them. If ND wants to stay independent, let them. At this point, ND needs the ACC for all their other sports, more than the ACC needs ND for football.
