Penn State is a pretty big name. Ohio State just had a better resume

they beat Oklahoma on the road and beat Michigan. Penn State did beat Ohio State at home but got crushed by Michigan and lost to Pitt. Conference champ is only relevant in a tiebreaker. Been saying that for three years yet folks who want to force ND into the ACC and those interpret the 2014 OSU/TCU situation incorrectly have been making it more important than it actually is.
