Not sure you can really know that. VT relied heavily on Evans as a battering ram like the previous staff did with LT. I am guessing that impacted his decision to go pro early and not his lack of love for VT. Now I think part of that pounding was Evans fault for not going through his progessions and taking off running too early. I also feel he should have stayed another year despite risking injury and developed his game further. Let's hope Evans fares better as a project QB than LT
