If a person is just having a normal conversation with someone


in the front seat or even with people in the backseat, then I could see where a car's bluetooth connection could be more distracting. My car doesn't have that feature, so I have to use a bluetooth headset. In addition to just having normal "conversations," I was also including parent-child conversations which may or may not include some attempts at verbal discipline. At the very least requires the parent to look in the rear view mirror to see what is going on back there. Even if another parent (or adult) is in the car and taking the primary lead on it, I would think a driver's parental instinct is to still look into the rear view.
