ESPN channels are migrating to streaming services already.

ESPN is on Playstation VUE and Sling TV now. It will be on the new Youtube platform. So as people cut the cord with cable, they start a cord with one of these services.

Then ESPN is planning its own streaming services using that BAM technology they bought that MLB uses. There will be a shift in how stuff is distributed, but ESPN is positioned to be there on all platforms.
As they ramp down from cable providers, they ramp up on streaming providers.

The ACC linear channel will just be bundled with the rest of their stuff. These layoffs weren't just the cable channels, it hit the website people, the writers, and the radio shows too.
