Beyond just my personal preference for following a college hoops programs, I feel like we'd be less likely to get the UK/Duke one-and-dones and instead get the guys who end up at LSU or UW and don't make the tourney. Now if we get players who end up leaving after 3 because they're just too gosh-darn talented, I'm ok with that. I just think it would be hard to recruit quality one-and-dones that don't ultimately play havoc with your program.
