What's this?

IMO if that's a concern it's more than offset by how much you offer and

how easy it is to find it. If you were overly informal and had nothing much to offer, or goods were hard to locate, then the text would be a put-off.

What makes the text valuable is that it distinguishes your company from others who may offer that gear and their site(s) aren't human. Once a customer gets a read on your style/brand/attitude, they won't have to read it again, but they'll always have its message in mind when they reorder.
