I agree that Pitt has a ways to go. They just put cameras on top of the venues and you listen to the stadium announcers. The wind is howling through the microphone.

At UVA baseball games, it's good. At lacrosse games they don't seem to have the ability to show the score on the screen. You have to wait for the announcers to tell you the score. That won't work.

At UNC baseball games, the camera is up high in the stands. I don't want to watch a baseball game like that on TV. In person OK, but on TV I want to see the strike zone. They need work.

At Duke baseball games, they don't have announcers and run the radio feed. It gets out of sync with the video, and you hear all of the local radio commercials. That's not going to work.

VT does a nice job of baseball. They show the strike zone. It took me a minute to figure out why they were playing in front of a pile of dirt, but I realized that the stadium in being renovated.

I find it funny that at Syracuse lacrosse games in the Carrier Dome ESPN is doing them for the ESPN3. I wonder if that Syracuse AD from ESPN has some pull the rest of the schools don't.

Overall it is improving, but a lot of work ahead to get consistency. I hope ESPN helps coach that stuff.
