Yes it's one if the things most travel ball coaches can't

stand about Thomas. He takes girls away from their travel teams that have trained them to get where they are to go play for a travel team that has had a lot of controversy over the last few years and suspect coaches. He is well known for not traveling much to see girls play. This way he can go to one game/tourney and see everyone.

It's the reason why we miss on a lot of the top players. If they are good enough for D1, the coaches are steering them to JMU, Liberty, Longwood or out of state (see Duke for Peyton St George although I do think she may have had a connection there).

That's not a dig at our players coming in. I think for the first time in a long while we actually have a great class and hats off to Thomas for getting them. I think many of these girls have the potential to be starters very quickly. I have seen both pitchers numerous times in travel. While they don't put up the same numbers as in high school, they are still great recruits who, barring injury, should do very well at the D1 level.

With the girls coming in and the talent they possess, Thomas has no excuse not to be well over 500 next year.
