Ummm...let's not get confused by the facts


BTN didn't "make bank" until 2015, the first year it distributed profits back to members. This was 8 years after it was launched (2007).

PACN distributed less than a million/school in FY 13 and about 1 million per school in FY's 14 and 15. Not sure how they are building Beamer Barns for that but hat's off to them if they can do it.

Current PACN distributions are about the same as ESPN's interim offsets to the ACC.

The contracts the SEC were "stuck in" were with ESPN, i.e., they weren't stuck.

Your theory/expectation that ESPN would invest heavily in the property less likely to be profitable is more than bizarre.
