If we were to go to the B1G, it would have to be without osu. Academically, we're on par with Nebraska (and based on Nebraska, AAU migh not be a deal-breaker anymore). That being said, if OU is borderline good enough academically, then osu has a less than zero chance of getting invited.
Now, with the PAC/SEC/ACC lacking that particular (possible) requirement, we would most probably attempt to negotiate a deal to bring the pokes along with us.
My understanding is that President Boren is the driving force in trying to make sure osu has a seat when the music stops. But if this takes another 7-8 years, then he probably won't be the one making these decisions at that point.
All that being said, I honestly have no idea how this will play out. Even my own destination preference seems to change every day or so. All I know for certain is that wherever we're playing come 2025, it won't be in the Big 12.
