I think ND would still have that if they pushed the ACC to add Navy.
They would also need to keep the ACC at 8 conference games, which the 4 members with SEC instate rivals insist on as well.
The ACC uniquely provides venues in almost all of the major media markets on the East Coast. Any we miss could be satisfied by moving the Navy home game to it like is done today.
With continuing the two California series, it would leave 2 open schedule slots for games with Texas teams, Mountain West teams, and Midwest teams to rotate.
So it would still work with ND in the ACC. ND should keep the NBC contract going. The ACC would be good with that because the ACC wouldn't have to give ND a share for football. ND would have their own deal, and ACC teams like playing on NBC too.
The anxiety I saw on that thread posted earlier from NDNation about ACC overlord control would be addressed as well. The ACC is already controlling 5 games on the ND schedule per this thread. Adding 3 more to that doesn't make any real difference.
