SEC has as much academic prestige as the Big XII.
All of the academic talk part is well and good, but we're talking about an athletics conference. Oklahoma should go for the best fit there, and especially for football. The future talent for football is in the high schools of Florida/Georgia, Texas, and California. Any decision should create easy scheduling of games in those 4 states, or a subset of them. SEC gives Oklahoma 3 off them. PAC 12 gives them 1. ACC gives them 2. If you came to the ACC, it would be with Texas, so ACC would also be 3.
I wouldn't think going somewhere that creates an immediate need for Satellite Camps miles and miles away would be what they do. But what do I know?
