You have said several times you have followed this for about 15 years, I guess that's the difference. That means you really only followed it a few years before we were in the ACC (and things overall were pretty good in the late 90's early 00's - even in big east) you don't know or don't acknowledge, the really bad times before that - and think the sky is falling now. I remember reading my extended family's week old newspapers when we visited other cities in VA to see if there was anything to the rumors around 1977-78 we might get in ACC - forty years ago.

Again, I agree with a lot of your criticisms of ACC management, I just think (as do a majority of people I talk with) we are still in a much better position than we have been in a lot of VT's history. I trust that Whit and others are doing every realistic thing they can to help improve the VT and ACC. Cue the old man jokes.
