I don't believe the ACC got the rights to ice hockey since it doesn't


sponsor the sport. If the ACC ever decides to sponsor ice hockey, then I am not sure how that would play out. The ACC may need to pay another conference in order to gain the rights to the historical content. From a "value" standpoint, is this equation true?

Notre Dame football + Notre Dame ice hockey = all the other sports

It is possible that Notre Dame football by itself is significantly more valuable than all of the other sports. If that is true, then it makes it more difficult to support the claim that the deal between the ACC and Notre Dame wasn't one-sided or at the very least not close to being balanced/fair.
