If I read one more one-sided article about injuries and next year's class.....fill in the blank. This article, the one posted on this site, and the summary on HokieSports presented one view and only one view. It appears that the Program's "answer" to the worst season in almost 20 years is a standard one. Well at least it's a consistent message. Not a good one or even acceptable one but indeed a consistent message about the future is just months away. Next year's class has talent. Hopefully some talent that can step up to the collegiate game. Next year's team should be better as there is too much talent already on this team yet alone the talent of the new class. There still are a few holes defensively and need to find ways to generate more runs, but this team needs leadership to play with fire and energy and win the close games. No new class will change that. So here's hoping that there are indeed some real changes beyond this stale message that is being delivered in these recent articles.
