Biggest concern with Stiffler is that he has zero major conference experience. The A10 is one of the weakest conferences in baseball. Winning 30 - 40 games against St, Joes and St. Louis provides no indication on hew he would do in the ACC. And yes, he has beaten a few major schools, but those are week day games when those schools throw their #4 or #5 pitchers. He would be a gamble.
