Longwood Softball


Going to the regionals. Won the Big South Tourney while hosting it. Had a great 4-2 win on Mothers Day over rival Liberty. BTW Liberty only has one senior on their team so they will be a force in the upcoming years.

JMU only lost maybe 6 games and the new UVA coach was very successful at her previous stop McNeese State. So we have our work cut out for us to stay at or near the top of the Commonwealth's teams much less the ACC.

Hoping the new group of recruits will help push us back into competition. The word I am hearing from some non-VT softball gurus is that indeed we have a strong recruiting class entering this fall.

Go Hokies!! and Go Wood!! ( as they say)
