I get it from an outsiders perspective
the thinking is that last year we had too many guys that gave us roughly the same type of contributions (ex. hall, thompson, shayok) and our roster this year is more versatile offensively. For instance, we now have a 6 8 wing who can handle the ball and create, a quick point guard who can penetrate, draw fouls, and finish at the rim and a true stretch four.
In addition, we have young guys with high upside that really needed an offseason to physically mature to take the next step (jerome, guy and diakite)
