Oh. Don't sense there's a ton of dislike for WVU in the ACC.

I think Pitt and VT would love annual conference games against them, Miami too. They had some great match-ups back in the day, a bit of a WVU-Miami rivalry had formed.

Louisville would love them.

FSU and Clemson would CLEARLY support the addition of more football matchups.

That's 6 of the 14.5 solidly in the WVU camp.

I could see NC St. being down for another football school. They could use WVU on their schedule every once in a while, much more than Navy that's for sure. NC St. could use the money.

GT too.

Don't see why BC and Cuse wouldn't want them. It's another conference stop that's at least A BIT closer for them. Oddly, BC seems to be totally against UCONN.

THEN, you get to Tobacco Road and the old school elitists in Wake, Duke, UNC, UVA.

I don't sense any bad blood between any of these schools and WVU. UVA did have some beef with WVU over some stupid band prank a while back, that's about all I have heard.

I do feel those for schools are full of snotty elitists, actually I know they are. However, you gotta remember the leaders of those elitist schools are likely liberal academic types. WVU could be sold as a sort of affirmative action addition to the league. That school's athletics are a pretty big deal for the poorest state in the nation. Anyhow, with the addition of UofL, I think the ACC elitists have come off of that academics high horse when considering such things. I hope that UNC's been humbled too.

Just don't see any anti WVU thing going on. In fact, had WVU not been in the Big12, I think the ACC would have probably offered them instead of UofL recently.
