Lauren Duff is giving up softball....


From my source, it has nothing to do with the coaching staff or team. She's not going to transfer to any other program. She no longer has the passion to play college softball. She just wants to be a college student, not a student-athlete. All we can do is wish her the best of luck.

Tech has a commitment from a catcher (class of 2018) from Halifax County High School, but at this point Whitney Saunders is our only catcher on next season's roster. Either one of our current players will switch positions or we'll sign a JUCO or graduate transfer over the summer.
