I agree with you that the NCAA and its media partners want


to make the most money from the postseason tournaments. I do wonder though if they are going to ultimately shoot themselves in the foot. n looking at this year's softball tournament, it is possible for the SEC to have 6 (of 8) teams in the Softball College World Series.

I do think it is only a matter of time before it gets to the point where 1 conference ends up being represented in either a Final Four (basketball, soccer, lacrosse) or a World Series (baseball and softball). Is that really good for the game or making money for everyone when it does happen? In a lot of ways it may be just as bad or worse than the All-SEC BCS NCG in football.
