The problem is 90% of all the drivers just suck at it.


I drive 100% defensive driving as there are so many bad drivers out there you never know when there mess up will affect you. I agree the left side drivers in a multi lane road is maddening, I do my best to stay out of someone elses way, of course when you have multiple cars in front of yourself I tend to dislike the tailgating from those behind.
