a drag. Their new contract will make them an additional $15-20M/school/year for about 5 years. That wouldn't have happened without MD & Rutsgers. That's $75-100M extra/school. I sorta think they'll be OK with that.

Also, once that deal is up, all conferences will be looking to fill the same void, and all have about the same amount of dead weight. So that's not really a good argument. The ACC won't be booting BC, Wake, or anyone else. Just like the SEC won't be booting the MS schools. The Big Ten will always have their built in advantage. Total numbers of alumni.

***Oh, and the Big 12 will still suck. ;)
