WADR that is the same challenge football faces

Tech could hire a coach from Florida or Texas, but he'll still struggle to convince more "southern" kids to come north to Blacksburg.

There is talent in Virginia high school baseball. Problem is the battle for that talent is intense.

Tech's new hire needs to be able to convince home state talent to choose the Hokies over many of the Virginia schools fighting for that talent.
