So was he just poorly informed then?


If everyone who analyzed the committee's decision thinks they got it wrong with respect to UVA, the only two reasons for voting against UVA would be that he made a bad choice or he made a choice that he knew would hurt his rival school.

Even the committee, and Babcock himself, acknowledges that the choice was a close one. If its a coin-flip decision wouldn't you want the UVA AD to choose the instate school over Clemson (and Houston, for that matter?) Don't you think its logical to infer ill intent from our perspective?
