happened. Won the Southern Conf. tournament and now 1-1 in NCAA and playing Clemson today a second time(lost 5-4 in first game) to advance to Championship round if they win out. Biggest event is probably his son's high school team won the 3-A state baseball championship on Saturday and was named MVP for the tournament. He plays shortstop for Northern Guilford HS (Mook Reynolds HS) and went 5 for 11 with 4RBI's. Know he has not committed to a college but has shown Div1 talent. Since his Dad played for FSU- I would think a chance to coach in the ACC and maybe bring his son with him would be very tempting! Has a good pitching coach at UNCG which has been strong this year.Certainly hope Whit has Jarrett on his short list.
