If they got turned down by the NBA, they'd be smart to hire Crean....


And if they don't wish to hire Crean, then they should just bite the bullet, take the one year hit and hire someone temporary. It's not ideal, but it's better than hiring the wrong permanent coach.

But I have no qualms if they decide to hire someone unqualified either, except that they'll be back on the market in 2 or 3 years.
