Buzz is good at floating his name out there. In fact, it gets floated out there so much that most of the time it is hard to tell whether he's actually interested in a job or not.

I do know that he was going to Tennessee at one point, but UT didn't want to wait on him and hired Pearl instead. So VT hired Buzz shortly thereafter. And he wanted the Texas job.

Other than that...I have no idea what's true or what isn't true. But he is known as a guy who floats his name out there a lot. Smart of him from a business perspective. But it does prevent the fanbase from getting really close to him.
