If all the power conferences decide to go to a 20 game conference

schedule, then do you think at some point they push increase the number of game slots beyond 30? The reason I said game slots is because I think right now most regular season tournaments are considered to be 1 game slot even though teams end up playing 2-4 games in the tournament. I believe the only regular season tournament games not included in this rule are the ones where teams play 2 or 3 on someone's home court before traveling to a "neutral site" (which could still end up being someone's home court) to play the remaining tournament games.

The ultimate reason for the question is I don't think the power conferences will want to completely give up their money games. It is possible that the 2 extra conference games may end up reducing the amount of OOC games between 2 power conference schools. As a result it could make it tougher (and more "interesting") for the Committee when it comes time to deciding who should receive at-large bids to the NCAA Tournament.
