If USF can build a football stadium on campus, then that will increase

its stock value. If the ACC were to add USF, then I would think it would also have to add another FL school (i.e. UCF) too. Having 3 FL schools will mean the divisions won't be balanced and I would think both divisions would fight hard to be the division with the extra FL school. Also, having 4 FL schools may make it easier coming up with pods if the ACC wanted to go that route. Each pod would having the following:

1 FL school
1 NC school
1 UVA/VT/Clemson/GT school
1 L'ville/Pitt/Syracuse/BC school

This could work because the pods would be paired up to allow the ACC to continue with the protected cross-division game. The pairings would be the following:

BC-Syracuse
Pitt-L'ville
UVA-VT
Wake-Duke
UNC-NC State
Clemson-GT
FSU-Miami
UCF-USF

The other cross-division game would rotate among the 3 remaining teams in the opposite pod.
