There's a reason why VT fans once dreamed of the ACC. It was the best conference in the land back then. It paid out more than any other too. No way in Hades any ACC team was gonna leave for the Big East.

And everyone knew that hodge podge was gonna implode one day. Again, notice how Miami eventually caved and came without Cuse and BC. But, that was no doin of the ACC. That had everything to do with folks in Virginia saving their ass.

But, regrettably, the ACC still screwed it up and added BC a year later, when Miami had already signed the dotted line. Ridiculousness.

Nobody is to blame for the addition of BC, but the ACC folks. Can't pin that solely on Miami.
