I have no problem with that either. The kid would have earned it. But grad transfers shouldn't have restrictions at all. They should be allowed to transfer to wherever they can/want.

As for other transfers, I can see both sides. Personally, I think as long as you sit for the year, you should be able to transfer anywhere, no restrictions. But I'm sick of the hardship rule being abused the way it has been. If there's a legitimate emergency, sure. But of late, it seems that an emergency could be wanting to be an hour closer to home to see Grandma on her 80th birthday (which is in two years).
