No, they are not. You can set up Oakmont difficult regardless of weather.

This track, you cannot. It's either gettable, or it's unplayable, there is no in between. Unfortunately the USGA can't make it unplayable (narrow the fairways, grow fescue), so the result is it is very gettable.

To put Oakmont and Erin Hills in the same company is absolutely laughable.
