Vaunted 18U Williamsburg Starz fail in ASA States


Not sure if all the players were at the tournament, though everyone should have been there since it was a state championship, but the vaunted Starz with Virginia's HS stars (and then some) went 1-2 in ASA States this weekend. That is not a good performance as Travel Softball in VA is not the best in the country. Again, maybe some players were not there but even so this is a disappointing performance especially for all the message boarders that think 3A VA softball is comparable to high D1 college softball. Hopefully they can get in track later in the summer.
