I'm not sure why they played in this tournament to be honest, as there are no plans to play in the ASA Nationals. I think it was local and gave an opportunity for the younger girls to play before the full team got together. You can see the Triple Crown Nationals and the JO (Junior Olympic) Cup is the real carrot that is being dangled out there.

Also, the 23U tournament noted, didn't play and we were actually 2-2 in the States.
