If VT does have a "trap game," then I would say ODU
Perceptually ODU is a new kid on the FBS block, so they shouldn't be able to compete with a power conference school of VT's quality. Also, it is right after the ECU game and right before the Clemson game. Once the clock strikes 0:00 in the ECU game, I could see the players turn their focus towards the Clemson game while forgetting ODU is the next opponent.
To me a "trap game" is when you take your opponent lightly to the point where you either lose the game or barely win it. Hence why I don't consider Duke to be a "trap game" especially since Cutcliffe has been able to return Duke to its "Spurrier Days" form. Personally, I think the players will be mentally prepare for UNC, Duke, and Miami and unlikely to take those 3 teams lightly.
