I think the group here on TSL is generally a little older, so we consider WVU a rival, maybe even the rival, but if you ask anyone who graduated in the last 10 years, they don't feel that way.

To me, this is the real danger that WVU faces by being in the B12. Soon, no one in the east (Pitt, MD, etc.) will care about them because an ever smaller part of the fan base even remembers playing them. They used to play PSU every season and that was a big game - you never hear about that anymore either.

My dad still talks about big games against VMI.
