Think you are spot on..


and hopefully some orthopedic or one of our other posters with ACL experience can chime in, particularly if what I am about to say is incorrect. I think the sprints are a start and fit the timeline of GC as far as at least 6 weeks of rehab prior to the mid August milestone. I would guess some more straight line sprints and barring swelling, unexpected pain or another complication they will add in some change of direction drills and gradually build through other basketball type movements. Key is no swelling and unexpected pain/soreness. Another significant portion is mental and getting to the point where he fully trusts the knee or, if not full trust, at least comfortable to approach full speed drills. Between a foot and now a knee hopefully he can overcome the injury bug. It would be nice to see him get a full, reasonably healthy season.
