I'm sure there is a practicality of where a school can effectively recruit. Virginia Tech is making inroads to the Charlotte area after years of building relationships.

Pennsylvania and Ohio are states Tech occasionally dips into, but he reality is that Penn State and Ohio State, and all of the other schools have far better relationships with the high school programs in their respective home state.

Looking at West Virginia's staff, they're all from the Midwest, Pennsylvania, Ohio and Florida. So who on the staff knows DC and the 757? Probably no one very well.

So I would suspect that WVU faces tough inroads into Virginia. Its tough to battle Tech, UVa, Maryland, Penn State, etc for those recruits.
