Never felt a need to earn their trust. They did what I said because I was


Dad and I said so. I was no tyrant though, gave them lots of freedom as long as they stayed out of trouble and got good grades. Monitoring online helped me teach them proper behavior and keep them out of trouble.

There is no one way to parent. I'm old school and this worked for me. It's not as black and white as I can communicate here.
