Richt could definitely recruit, but the coaching side was a different story. Richt never really developed a reputation for having 'knock-down', 'knock-dead' defenses. like Bama and for a while, LSU. Also, the top ten recruiting classes showing up in Athens now are way above the top 10 levels assembled by Richt, in his glory days. Can Richt get the coaching job done at Miami ? I sure hope not, 'cause VT would likely pay the price. Can the new staff at Athens actually "coach" to go along with the recruiting hype ? Too Soon to Tell ! JMHO ?
