Looks like it'll be Tech's best women's lacrosse recruiting class..

history but our class isn't as loaded with All-Americans as the 20-25 programs ahead of us. We have a ways to go to get to the level of recruiting of most of the ACC programs. I expect it will take John Sung another 3 or 4 years to get to ACC recruiting quality but he's heading in the right direction. Simply winning against ACC opponents and making the NCAA tournament will improve our recruiting rankings.

Sung had a very nice first season, but we have to remember that he's rebuilding this program. John Sung has only been in Blacksburg for 14 months. The ACC programs that we're competing against have been established winners for decades.

John Sung happily announced a few weeks ago that he got a commitment from what he called "the final piece to the puzzle". She must be a very good player for him to say something like that. Sung's also very good at flipping commitments. It seems like half of his commitments have flipped to Tech since he went on the recruiting trail a year ago.
