This realignment seems unrealistic.

If your expansion scenario were to happen (Texas and ND) a north-south realignment would be more likely. BC, Syr., Pitt, ND, Lou would be grouped. Miami, FSU, GT, Clemson, Tx would be grouped. Then the NC and Va schools would be divided up. I don't like it if VT ends up in the North because I think we are culturally more like the South football schools. But regional and traditional rivalries matter in college football.
