IMO, or at least from my POV, the any hype around Ford or Brewer was relative to what else was available to play. One or two of the other options were not legit D1 options. One may not have been D2 starting material. It was pretty scary once LT departed until Brewer signed. Ford who is not a p5 QB was likely going to reps as true freshman to get some kind of passing threat on the field. Evans was the first guy we really had to get excited about in a while.
