I think Evans may have been that lightening in a bottle special kind of QB. I wish he had stuck around. I've read a lot on 1st year QB's with Fuente, going back to his TCU days, it seems 1st year QB's tend to struggle, including the likes of Dalton and Lynch; however, Evans blew that sterotype out of the water. I didn't watch a lot of VT games last year, but from what I saw, he was very elusive to be a bigger runner.
